On October 22, the Tarim Golden Autumn Cultural Tourism Series opened in Aral City, part of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps’ First Division.
The event kicked off with an energetic display of song and dance. During the opening ceremony, a series of signing ceremonies took place, including agreements for the Zhejiang “Welcome to Aral” Travel Agency Alliance, the Xinjiang Autonomous Region’s comprehensive self-driving tour service alliance, and tourism cooperation among five provinces supporting Xinjiang.
A highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Changlong Airlines “Aral” aircraft. This plane, named “Where Xinjiang Corps is, First Stop Aral,” was jointly developed by the Zhejiang Provincial Support for Xinjiang Headquarters and the Aral City Government. On the day of the event, the aircraft made its inaugural flight from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport to Aral’s Tarim Airport.
Throughout the Golden Autumn Cultural Tourism Series, a variety of activities are planned, including themed evening galas, educational forums, a food competition, and exhibitions. These events aim to provide local residents and visitors from across the country with a festive atmosphere while they enjoy the beautiful autumn scenery.
Zhang Shigao, Director of the Aral City Culture, Sports, Radio, and Television Bureau, emphasized the city’s commitment to tourism development in recent years. He noted, “We continue to strengthen the foundation of tourism, innovate our tourism offerings, and deeply explore and showcase our cultural tourism resources. The achievements of the fourth batch of National Public Cultural Service System Demonstration Zone are being continuously consolidated.”
