This exciting event features 12 elite teams from various regions, including Beijing, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hebei, Henan, Liaoning, Shandong, Shanghai, Sichuan, Tianjin, and Zhejiang.

Volunteer involvement has been a crucial aspect of the championship, drawing individuals from diverse backgrounds to ensure comprehensive support for the event. One such volunteer is Liang Chujian, a coach at a basketball training institute in Beijiao, who is also part of the service team for the event. “This experience is incredibly meaningful,” Liang expressed. “As a basketball coach, it’s an opportunity to learn and witness something special.” He emphasized the significance of properly supporting the athletes, particularly since they are individuals with hearing impairments. Volunteers underwent specialized sign language training, and the organizing committee placed a strong emphasis on CPR and first aid training, aiming to provide optimal safety for the athletes during the competition.

Coach Zhou Ju from the Fujian team praised the organization of the event, stating, “The volunteers have done an excellent job. Right outside the train station, we were met by volunteers holding signs ready to assist. They smoothly helped our players get into their transportation.” Zhou noted that all volunteers are proficient in sign language, enabling them to address any needs or inquiries from the team promptly. He expressed gratitude for the warm atmosphere. Zhou also mentioned that the primary goal for their participation is to gain experience and knowledge, hoping the athletes will learn from competing against top-level opponents at this national event.
