Australia Shanghai Business Promotion Association and Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce held a business symposium

On September 20 in Melbourne, the Australia Shanghai Business Promotion Association hosted a business forum welcoming a delegation from the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce. Attendees included significant figures such as Wang Xiaohan, Executive Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation, and Zhou Guohua, President of the Australia Shanghai Business Promotion Association, along with various representatives from Chinese and Australian companies.

In his opening remarks, Wang Xiaohan emphasized that the main objective of the forum was to bolster business cooperation between China and Australia, enhancing communication and collaboration among companies in both regions. He also shared valuable insights about the delegation, helping attendees gain a better understanding of the federation’s role and goals.

Throughout the forum, representatives from both Chinese and Australian enterprises participated in in-depth discussions, exchanging business insights, market trends, and their visions for future partnerships. Wang Junjin, Chairman of Juneyao Group, elaborated on the company’s international development strategy and achievements, expressing optimism for future economic and trade cooperation between the two nations. He highlighted the group’s commitment to increasing its international competitiveness through innovation and diversification while looking forward to expanded collaborations with Australian companies.

Zhou Guohua pointed out that this face-to-face interaction has established a vital communication channel between Chinese and Australian businesses, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in the future. He reiterated the strong intention to enhance trade relations and promised to provide further support and collaborative platforms for businesses from both sides.

The forum also featured a signing ceremony for a memorandum of cooperation between the Xuhui District Federation of Industry and Commerce and the Great Wall Tourism Group. Additionally, four entrepreneurs and experts recognized for their significant contributions to Sino-Australian trade were awarded the title of “Senior Overseas Advisors.” The evening concluded with a celebration of the eighth anniversary of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Shanghai Federation and the Australia Shanghai Business Promotion Association.

Cao Jun, Vice President of the Australia Shanghai Business Promotion Association, underscored the event’s significance for Sino-Australian trade relations, reaffirming the association’s ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration and creating more opportunities for enterprises from both countries.
